Hungry Red Planet Honored by American Public Health Association

Hungry Red Planet™, Health Media Lab’s educational software that teaches children better nutrition skills and healthy eating habits, has won the 13th Annual Public Health Materials Contest of the Public Health Education and Health Promotion Section (PHEHP) of the American Public Health Association. The product was selected by a panel of expert judges in the category of Electronic Materials.

Health Media Lab President D. Michael Anderson will receive the award and make a presentation about Hungry Red Planet at the PHEHP Annual Meeting on November 15-19, in San Francisco. 

The American Public Health Association is the oldest and largest organization of public health professionals in the world, representing more than 50,000 members from over 50 occupations of public health. PHEHP is the largest section or special interest group within APHA, with more than 3000 members.
